Tuesday June 12

Leave Boston 7:59 am AA 1657.  Arrive Philadelphia 9:37 am

Bus from airport 

Stop at 30th St. Station for Hancock

Drop stuff at hotel (if convenient)

If time – PA Academy of Fine Arts or National Constitution Center/Independence National Historic Site or whatever – on own

Lunch – on own

1:45 – arrive Philadelphia Museum of Art 

2:00 – Private Tour of Philadelphia Museum of Art 

5:00 – Mural arts with Anita’s friend Ann Northrup (see attached) (leave from hotel, end at Parc) or Happy hour at hotel and Uber to Parc

6:30 PM Dinner.  Parc, French bistro   227 South 18th St. 

Overnight in Philly – Embassy Suites Philadelphia, 1776 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia

Wednesday June 13

8:15 leave for Bryn Athyn tour and lunch

1:15 leave Bryn Athyn

2:15 Barnes Foundation (private guided tour)(Pamela Birmingham is the contact)

Rodin Museum if desired (included in Philadelpia Museum of Art ticket)

Happy hour at hotel

6:30 PM  -- Dinner (and brewery tour). Yards Brewing, 500 Spring Garden St. (Jill’s son!) (uber)

Overnight in Philly – Embassy Suites Philadelphia, 1776 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia

Thursday June 14

8:30 leave for Brandywine Valley

9:30 arrive Brandywine Museum

9:45 Brandywine Museum (private guided tour)

10:45 leave Brandywine Museum

11:30 Longwood Garden – tour on own

Lunch on own at Longwood

12:15 Open Air Theater Fountain display (10 minutes)

1:15 Main Fountain display (10 minutes)

(MSR – meet Midori Miyazaki at 1:15 in the cafeteria)

1:45 leave Longwood

2:00 Winterthur House and Garden (private guided tour)

Right away – Garden Tram tour (35 minutes) and Garden Follies exhibit

3:00 Guided tour of main rooms

5:00 Leave for Inn at Mendenhall, 323 Kennett Pike, Chadds Ford

5:30 Cocktails at Inn at Mendenhall

6:30 pm Dinner. Inn at Mendenhall, 323 Kennett Pike, Chadds Ford 

8:30 pm Shuttle to Longwood Gardens for 9:15 pm Fountain/Light display (KEEP YOUR TICKET from Longwood for reentry!!)

Friday June 15

8:45 – leave for Nemours

9:30 – Nemours 

10:00 – Nemours loop ride

10:30 – private Nemours tour

(11:00 – bus driver pick up sandwiches)

12:15 leave for airport
