April 10, 2019 - Wednesday
Depart 7:00 am on Delta. Go through Atlanta. Arrive at Fayetteville airport at 12:25 pm
About 2 pm, check into 21c Hotel Museum/light lunch at hotel
Walk to museum for a 3:00 pm tour of a new contemporary exhibit Men of Steel, Women of Wonder
Free time until dinner
Tour the hotel’s art collection, walk the many paths that surround the property
6 pm dinner at Tavola Restaurant. (Alcohol not included)
April 11, 2019 - Thursday
Breakfast at hotel
Walk to museum
11:30 am - 12:30 pm, pre fixe lunch
12:30 pm -1:45 pm private tour of permanent collection
2:00 pm guided tour of Bachman house. (12 people)
2:30 pm guided tour of Bachman house (13 people)
Free time
Tour the Walton Collection
Walk back to hotel
8:00 pm to 10:30 pm dinner at The Hive, located at 21c Museum (Alcohol not included)
April 12, 2019 - Friday
Breakfast and check out of hotel
9:00 am departure for Eureka Springs, AK
10:30 am tour of Thorncrown Chapel
11:00 am to 1:00 pm lunch and shopping on our own in Eureka Springs
1:00 pm departure from Eureka Springs
Drive through Branson, MO
Continue on to Kansas City, MO
Check into Raphael Hotel
7:30 pm barbecue dinner at Jack Stacks (Alcohol not included)
April 13, 2019 - Saturday
Breakfast
8:45 am departure for Truman Library
9:30 am tour of Truman Library
11:00 am depart for Nelson-Atkins Museum
11:30 am arrive at Nelson-Atkins
11:30 am to 1:00 pm lunch and free time at the museum
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm private tour of the collection
Following tour, free time until 3:30 pm, when all should return to hotel to get ready for dinner.
Each person can decide on her own to go to the two exhibitions that will be on view while we are there.
5:00 - 5:15 pm pre fixe dinner at The Kauffman Center (90 minute dinner)
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm free time until the concert begins
8:00 pm La Valse with Copeland’s Appalachian Spring Featuring Lalo’s Cello Concerto
10:00 pm return to hotel
April 14, 2019 - Sunday
Breakfast and check-out of hotel
Those interested may walk to Kemper Contemporary Art Museum, a 17 minute walk
11:00 am departure for airport
1:51 pm departure on Delta. Connect through Detroit. Arrive in Boston at 7:54 pm
