Just had a wonderful dinner and experience at
the restaurant Mimi mentioned in her Croatian adventure. We went to
Lucin Kantun in Dubrovnik and there was no room. I prevailed upon the owner and
he let us sit on the steps nearby on cushions with a glass of wine until a
table became available. Meanwhile we had a chat with a few young Canadians and
finally a couple from Portland, Oregon who gave us their table. We had a long
talk with the owner, saw how fabulous the chocolate desert was and gave in.
Later we were gifted glasses of desert wine and grappa. On leaving we had a fun
conversation with two couples from Chile who were attending a medical
