Johannesburg, South Africa Days 1 and 2

Day 1: Flight from
Boston/Washington/Dakar, Senegal/Johannesburg SA.
Day 2: Arrive
Johannesburg early evening. We stayed at the Intercontinental
Hotel a short walk out of the airport across the street from the main
terminal building as we had an early flight to catch the next day. This is an
expensive hotel but after 29 hours of travel we treated ourselves to a
luxuriously comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom and a very good dinner. A
cheaper alternative would be City
Lodge, also very convenient to the airport.
